INOOK snowshoes performance comes from their numerous and unique technical innovations and many patents on the snowshoe market. The following list describes some of the concepts that are present on all models (except the junior model).

The "perimetric" concept (Ox1 and Ox1 w)

The double rail frame (called the "perimetric" concept) cuts itself a grip into the snow blanket and enables safe hill side traverses.

Wing Concept (all models)

Tunnel-like frame to compress the snow beneath the snowshoe and keep the shoe level.

Automatic heel step (all models exepted Futura and Junior)

The only automatic heel step on the market. (Patent. AGS) You can change the position without bending down and reduce the angle between your foot and the hill.


 

Fixation (all models exepted Futura and Junior)

Extremely easy use even with gloves (adapting the size, adapting the width of the NT-Binding, bag)

 

Steel-Spike (all models)

Steel-Spikes are orientated in 3 directions; they give efficient grip in all directions as well going uphill, downhill or crossing the hill They are small so that the snow can not freeze and stick under the frame.

Size of the frame

The size of the frame has been designed to offer the best combination between flotation on the snow and light weight.

The front Spoiler (all models)

The front Spoiler is designed to glide easily through the snow instead of pushing against it. The spoilers' weight gives the best balance between the rear and front part of the snowshoe.
